Delete Account & Data
Talk Yaaro is committed to private, safe and transparent voice conversations.
You can delete your Talk Yaaro (user) or Talk Yaaro Partner (host) account at any time — in the app, or by emailing us if you can no longer use the app. This page explains exactly what is erased and what we are required by law to keep.
1. Delete in the Talk Yaaro app (users)
- Open the Talk Yaaro app and go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account & Data (below Log Out).
- Read the confirmation and tap Delete Forever.
This works for guest accounts too. A guest account has no phone number attached, so if you uninstall the app you can no longer sign in to it — delete it in the app first if you want it removed.
2. Delete in the Talk Yaaro Partner app (hosts)
- Open the Talk Yaaro Partner app. On the Home screen, tap your photo or name at the top to open your Profile.
- Scroll to Legal & Compliance and tap Delete Account & Data.
- Read the confirmation and tap Delete.
Please withdraw any available earnings to your UPI ID before deleting. If you have a withdrawal still being processed, contact us before you delete.
3. Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email us instead:
- Send an email to privacy@talkyaaro.com with the subject Account Deletion Request.
- Include your registered mobile number (with +91), and say whether it is a Talk Yaaro user account or a Talk Yaaro Partner host account. For a guest account, include your guest nickname.
We may reply to confirm the request comes from the account holder before acting on it. We will confirm we've received your request within 3 working days and complete the deletion within 30 days. We'll email you once it's done.
4. What happens when a user account is deleted
- Your phone number and nickname are erased from your account.
- Any remaining coins are forfeited — they cannot be refunded or transferred (see our Refund Policy).
- You are logged out on every device.
- The account is permanently disabled — it cannot be restored or signed in to again.
5. What happens when a host account is deleted
- Your phone number, name, PAN, bank account number and IFSC, UPI ID, profile photo and voice sample (audition / voice intro) are erased.
- You are logged out on every device and your profile no longer appears to users.
6. What we keep, and why
Some records must be kept after deletion to meet Indian law:
- Users: call records (host, date, duration, coins charged, any rating you gave) and coin purchase / transaction records — kept as required by tax, accounting and consumer-protection law.
- Hosts: earnings, payout and transaction records, call records, and the signed partner agreement — kept as required by tax and contract law.
- Safety records: reports, blocks and bans are kept as long as needed to enforce them and protect other users.
These records are kept only for as long as the law requires (generally up to 8 years) and are not used for anything else. Talk Yaaro never records call audio, so there is no call audio to delete.
7. Questions
