Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 August 2026

This policy describes how TalkYaaro ("we", "us") handles information when you use our voice calls and related services (the "Service").

1. What we don't collect

  • We do not record, store, or analyze the audio of your voice conversations.
  • We do not require your real name, phone number, or email to start a call.
  • We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

2. What we do collect

To operate the Service, we may collect:

  • An anonymous device or session identifier, used only to connect you to a listener.
  • Basic app diagnostics (crash logs, connection quality) to keep the Service reliable.
  • If you upgrade to Pro: payment details are processed by our payment provider — we do not store your card details ourselves.
  • Anything you voluntarily submit, such as a support request via our contact page.

3. Call and listener safety data

If you report a listener or another participant, we retain the minimum information needed to review that report (e.g. the timestamp, and your description of what happened) so our safety team can act on it. This is kept separately from ordinary conversation content, which is never recorded in the first place.

4. Children

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and above. Anonymous voice chat with strangers is not appropriate for minors, and we do not knowingly allow minors to use the Service.

5. Your rights

You can end a call or delete your account at any time. Because we don't retain conversation content, there is nothing to delete there — for account and payment data requests, reach us via our contact page.

6. Grievance officer

In accordance with the Indian IT Rules and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, a grievance officer will be designated here with contact details once the Service is publicly live.

7. Changes to this policy

We'll update the "last updated" date above whenever this policy changes, and post meaningful changes on this page before they take effect.

TalkYaaro is not a crisis service. If you are in immediate danger, please call Tele-MANAS at 14416.
