Community & Host Guidelines

Talk Yaaro is built on empathy, mutual respect, and privacy. These guidelines explain the standards expected from every caller and host on the platform.

1. For Verified Hosts (Partners)

• Be Empathetic & Non-Judgmental: Listen actively, maintain patience, and provide a warm, safe emotional space.
• Zero Off-Platform Contact: Never ask for or share phone numbers, social media handles, UPI IDs, or addresses.
• Confidentiality: Treat every conversation as strictly private. Sharing details about callers is grounds for immediate suspension or removal.
• Punctuality & Presence: Toggle your status to Online only when you are in a quiet environment ready to take calls.

2. For Callers

• Respectful Interaction: Abuse, sexual harassment, profanity, or hate speech will lead to immediate, irreversible ban.
• Emergency Protocol: Hosts are supportive peers, not emergency crisis professionals. In medical or severe mental health emergencies, dial Tele-MANAS (14416).
• Respect Anonymity: Do not pressure hosts to reveal real identities or personal contact details.

3. Zero Tolerance Policies

Our team takes action — up to a permanent ban — against:

• Hate speech or harassment targeting religion, gender, caste, or ethnicity.
• Sexual content or requests directed at another person.
• Financial fraud, extortion, or unauthorized transactions.
• Underage access (platform is strictly 18+).

4. Reporting & Enforcement

Users can report or block a host from the Talk Yaaro app, and hosts can block a user from the Talk Yaaro Partner app. Our team reviews reports and blocks and can remove content, suspend accounts, or ban them permanently. For anything urgent, message us on WhatsApp at +91 98718 44100.
